JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a leading litigation firm, is actively searching for talented and motivated Toxic Tort Associates to join their esteemed Los Angeles office. Responsibilities:
- Take and defend expert and witness depositions.
- Draft original motions and other legal documents on complex asbestos and toxic tort matters.
- Develop and manage discovery requests and responses for various parties.
- Cultivate client relationships through effective communication, both written and oral.
- Prepare for trial, including drafting motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Licensed to practice law in California.
- Self-motivated individual with high energy and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Prior experience in a billable work environment.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with keen attention to detail.
