Toxic Tort Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a leading litigation firm, is actively searching for talented and motivated Toxic Tort Associates to join their esteemed Los Angeles office. Responsibilities:

  • Take and defend expert and witness depositions.
  • Draft original motions and other legal documents on complex asbestos and toxic tort matters.
  • Develop and manage discovery requests and responses for various parties.
  • Cultivate client relationships through effective communication, both written and oral.
  • Prepare for trial, including drafting motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • Self-motivated individual with high energy and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Prior experience in a billable work environment.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with keen attention to detail.
